I had a serious offer to trade Ka'Bluey for a boat today.
But I can't make myself do that again. Ads are pulled, and we're hoping to get him in the shop and get those tires mounted, state inspected and on the road in the next few weeks.

Whew! KaBluey has been given a pardon. If I were closer, I'd come lend a hand getting it roadworthy again.

After several weekends of repairing vehicles, I've done absolutely nothing this afternoon.

Bob. Glad to hear it. After all you went through to get him back and keep him, it would be a shame to let him go, now.

Yep, it took a very good friend to make certain KaBluey was safe til you could get him back. I'd hate to see him with another family.

That's good because FTE does not have a 73-79 "Boat" section anyway.....but it the boat had a FORD V-8 you'd be a shoe in with it. lol Yes you still have that fancy new Ford truck and are a Ford man deep in the soul, so you are always good no matter what. I am so glad to hear that you decided to keep ol KaBluey. I knew you would regret it, I am glad you did BEFORE you traded it for a boat.

I worked late last night, flew for a while, same o same o here.

And I would let you help too. Time I have, but it's a funding issue.

I couldn't agree more.

Thanks Rich, I know I'd regret it, probably more that I did regret selling him the first time.
He's isn't going anyplace.

Unk Bob

Good Morning Everybody!

Gonna get the driver's quarter welded on EQ today and hopefully fill the gas fill in the cab. That's the last of the metal work that needs to be done. Then it's a mud-fest until the quarters are straight.

I always told my wife it is not eating anything. Glad your keeping it. As far as the funding issue. We can probably get you a job somewhere if needed.

Unk Bob you know how long my projects have set/sat and been just waiting YEARS. Do not try to get it all done in a day. Mechanical ( I am sure Alan took care of all that issues caused by the last owners), body work, then paint. I bet Alan could paint it in a drive way and make is look sharp. He did on ol red.

Another day in the books, I am tired.

Evening all. I've finally run into an online seller that is obviously an overseas douche-bag. Shoot he may even be related to the folks at douche-bag body works. I try my best to be respectful to others, but I was finally pushed into unleashing a pretty sarcastic response to their latest load of BS. I'm pretty sure the sarcasm will be lost in translation, but at least I feel better.

Dang pollen is setting off my asthma by the end of the day. I finally insisted the wife close up the windows and turn the AC on.

Evening All!

All the metal work on EQ is done. Both quarters are on and the original gas fill is welded shut. Tomorrow starts the mud-fest.

Cora, our oldest daughter had some news for us tonight. I'm gonna be a grandpa again. She just found out she's pregnant. This one was easier to take since the middle daughter "ripped the band aid off", so to speak. I'm actually kind of excited.

X2 congrats Alan. My youngest grandson (7) broke his nose at his school team baseball game last night. But it was when him and his DAD were practicing right before the game. OUCH

Good early morning there folks, its 3 PM here. I am up and getting ready to go to work to fly some more.

Morning all. Bob, glad you are keeping KaBluey. My truck has spent many years sitting. It is currently sitting now. No work on it until we get everything moved out of our old house.
Then it is steering box rebuild time and putting it all back together. It sucks not being able to drive it. The flatbed sure would be helpful for the move.

Off to Osage for track today, Mokane on Thursday. Too much stuff going on. But, I need to enjoy the moments.

Joe. That's the truth. Tiff just got done telling me Carina only has two track meets left. and there's only three weeks of school left in the year. Time flies, that's for sure.
