Part color

Does any one know the correct color for the latch panel & safety catch on a '52 F-1 ? Any ideas JB ?

I am not sure what was correct Denny. I do know that the v8 hood ornament had the inside of the 8 painted red. I finally found a NOS ornament and it has the paint.

I believe color was the old reliable Argent.

Denny, if this helps the 53-56 trucks latch and safety latch were painted argent like Jersey Devil shows above. I would think Ford used the same scheme for a 52 as they did 53-56.

And I am sure you know you can buy the correct argent from Ford Dealers today.
