93 F 150 cam swap

So I have a 302 efi in my truck I rebuilt it and bought an aftermarket cam to go in it I didnt realize they sold me a cam for a 351 so after some tinkering I got it running. It runs pretty good now however, riding down the road it has a vibration at a low rpm enough to shake the steering wheel and it goes away when the transmission shifts to a lower gear. Thoughts? The firing order is set up for a 351 but I'm not sure about all this aftermarket stuff especially with a computer controlled engine so any input would be greatly appreciated

Nothing wrong with that cam in a 302. Was the spark plug wiring order the only thing you changed? You didn't change any of the injectors wiring right?

Does the engine vibrate at idle? If so I'd suspect a balance issue or a dead cylinder. Have you done a compression test?

No it doesnt vibrate at idle, great compression just does it in 3rd gear and overdrive at a low rpm and it wasnt like that before I built the engine that's why I'm a little confused
