Seen a ranger raptor

It does look good. It's too bad they put such an underwhelming engine in it. 2.0L turbo, inline 4. 210hp, 370lbft. Then just to rub salt in, they immediately turned around and put the same engine in several other vehicles. I bet that made Raptor buyers feel special.
I guess buyers of base model Ranger's in the US can feel good with 60 more hp than the Raptors in the rest of the world get.

To me, that looks way better than the F-150 version. The U.S. Raptor looks disproportionate. It looks fat and squatty. Everything is just way off. Plus, the grille is ugly and the marker lights look like J.C. Whitney add-ons. Yuck. To each their own, but the F-150 Raptor has never made me look twice.
Fortunately, when the truly new Ranger comes in 2021 there allegedly will be a Raptor version of it for the U.S. market with a 2.7L EcoBust. So plenty of power and a very competitive or class leading offroad package. Finally.

It's 87" wide IIRC, and the Ranger Raptor is only 1" narrower. The marker lights are a requirement for vehicles over 80", so both would get them in the US. The regular F150 just squeaks under that at 79.9" on purpose.
