1986 F250 AC Wiring
I'm working on some things in my 1986 F250. I took out the Climate controls to replace the cables. Now I need to know which wire goes where.
Sorry, I don't know the part names.
Since I took the picture below, I've already re-soldered the wires back on points A and B, but what goes on point C? Is it a ground wire post? It didn't have anything on it.
Also, are the wires that go on the other part in this order?
1 Purple
2 Orange
3 Yellow
One last thing; when I try to put the wiring harness on the fan switch it wont go all the way on.

Does that lightgreen have a pink stripe on it?
The rest of your wire colors are not jiving with the diagram in this link.

1984 heater/AC control
I'm doing some rewiring in my 84 and happen to have my heater switches out. The terminals you are soldering onto don't look like mine at all. On my controls the fan switch plugs into the yellowish socket at the top. My fuel tank selector is the black socket on the bottom left. That's kind of where your mystery terminals are. You are noticeably missing the vacuum valve (long black box on the lower right) that move the doors in the heater box. The back end of the vacuum switch has an electrical socket for the air conditioner. I'm pretty sure Ford didn't have any solder terminals on this at all. Is your AC factory or dealer installed/aftermarket? It kind of looks to me like someone did some really nice fabrication to bypass a broken vacuum switch.

Here are the schematics for the blower switch (top socket) and the AC function switch (end of vacuum valve). These have the factory wire colors and how to test the circuits. The wiring harness for the AC is a separate "plug in" to the main harness. If you have the factory "plug in" AC wiring harness it will go through the firewall in a separate hole below the heater box about 3" to the right of where the right fender branch of the main harness (main power from battery, blower wires, headlights, etc) goes out the firewall.
