I have had some issues with pricing on some service work that I had done on my two Ford Escapes through my local Ford dealer. Does anyone know if Ford dealers required to use service labor time standards when charging customers for repairs? If so, which publication would have time standards for replacing an ABS sensor and door latches?Are Ford dealers limited to Ford suggested retail prices for their parts, or are they permitted to charge anything they want? If so, where would I look up those prices?

 

i believe all dealers charge same price. you can go to Fordparts.com they list the part by vin or make model. If you work for a suppler you can get suppier discount on parts . I think its 10 % off
