So, I had a leak to fix on my upper fuel bowl and did the blue spring kit. Removed air cleaner and cac tube to gain access and noticed some oil in the cac tube. I'm pretty sure this isn't normal and am wondering what would cause this. Turbo leaking? Only have owned this for a year now so I haven't had to tear into it much at all, so I'm pretty green when it comes to 6.0.

 

It is normal. It is from the crank case ventilation.

 

Ok, whew, I was a bit nervous, but all seems fine so... I am sure the intercooler has never been cleaned so I should probably pull it and flush it out. Thanks for the quick reply . Also my idle seems smoother when cold with the blue spring, are there any other noticeable improvements other than increased fuel pressure?

 

Not that I am aware of.
