Never heard of Max Flow diesel, but I'm curious why you're looking for opinions *after* you already bought it haha. If somebody is familiar with them, and tells you about a bad experience.....too late! Good luck man. I do see you will be able to tap into it with your egt probe. Use the probe off of your DPF.

You'll RE-use the sensor that you remove off of your DPF, on the EGR plug. It looks like that one you bought, has the bung for it. Some don't. I made the mistake of ordering a kit without one the first time, had to order that piece afterwards so I could monitor EGT's.

I bought an extra probe so I wouldn’t have to remove from the system taken out. My thought at time was to keep an entire emissions system intact for when it goes back in. I think was like 28 and change iirc

Depending on your tuner, it won't read the oem sensor, you've got to have an intermediate box and generic sensor for the tuner to properly read the egt's.

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think any of the SCT units will read it correctly. I know the SCT GTX does NOT read it correctly without an intermediate such as this from No Limit:

PIP EGT Sensor for SCT Products

They state ALL the SCT using the "firwire" - I assume that to be "firewire"- analog input on their site.

Here is what your EGT probe will look like after removal of the EGR. This probe was used off of my DPF.

No problem. I still can't recall if it was EGT 11, or EGT 13 on the gauge when I went to set it up. It's one or the other haha.
