Radio Alerts

Hello everyone.
I seem to be having an odd problem. Today on my way to work while listening to SXM.
The alerts that I have chosen for favorite artist/songs want to repeat 3 and 4 times instead of just once.
Very annoying. Is there a setting that I am not aware of? any thoughts?
thanks.

Mine have never repeated; in fact, they barely display long enough for me to reach over and make a selection! As far as I know, there is no setting to control how often an alert displays. I thought the alert was a "one and done" kind of thing until the next time that particular song/artist/etc. comes up.
Are you sure the alert is for one song/artist/channel? Perhaps a song matching your criteria is playing on two or three channels at the same time?
