Driving the bump! I'm still here!

Howdy boys! (And gals)

I'm still here. Haven't been doing much except driving the truck. 50-70 miles a day during the week on my commute to work. Averages a little more than 12mpg doing such. Just realized the other day that I'll soon be crossing the 100,000 mile mark since I started driving it back in late 2013.

Oh! I bought another one too! A 69 Ranger. Straight body, good paint, no rust... Not sure what I'm gonna do with it but I couldn't pass the deal up! Somebody put a caddy 500/turbo 400 in it. It runs and drives, I'm trying to sell that. I think someone wanted to drag race it because it's basically gutted inside and has a few high-dollar parts on it. Id love to put a small diesel in it but anymore that costs a lot of money no matter what. No matter, it can sit until I figure out a plan for it.

Wow! A 500ci with a TH400? That's a heavy lifting combo right there. Shouldn't be in a Ford though. Make an awesome swap for an old GM mud truck. Looks like you almost ran out of trailer for that truck. Are you going to have to change your signature to "and 11 other fords..."?

I guess I have to now haha.

Yeah it would be a great combo for some GM nut. It makes a lot of torque. Does burnouts real easy.

I don't think you'll have any problem selling that engine and transmission. That's a pretty desirable combination for GM guys.

I've had it posted on CL for about a week now. Had a couple of people call, but nothing has happened yet.

This is my post if anyone is curious.
