One of my father's closest friends kept just about vehicle he's ever owned. All Ford's, well, maybe a Mercury or two (per Alan Jackson, you have to go downtown for those).
Thankfully, he has a big metal building that they all live inside. He has a 36-38 (not sure exactly) Ford coupe with rumble seat that his father bought used in the 1940's. He takes it to car shows. I know there is a 40 Ford, an early Mustang (beautiful car!), I believe a model T, model A, and various cars from the 50's through 70's, including some Tbirds. He's driven a dentside as his daily driver as far back as I can remember.
He bought a T-boned early 90's Mustang 20 years ago, planning to put the 5.0 in that 40 Ford. I think the mustang is still rotting on his driveway. LOL
I'm hoping to get him to help me get Ole Blue running again soon. Not many guys still around that know these old Ford's like he does, at least not local to me. That's why I love lurking on this site and reading all the things y'all are doing (yes, y'all can probably tell I'm from Tennessee!).
