At the dealer

i was at the dealership where I got my 2019 today, while I was there I had them try to unlock a few features, mainly the dpf filter.after arguing that it was possible the hooked up there
ids.they were able to get the auto regen box to come up but that was it.I canít believe 3 dealers 15 minutes from me and none of them know of this feature.

This is s strange feature and apparently a low priority one from a firmware perspective.

apparently XL models come with this enabled.

im getting the sense that the feature code wonít fit in xlt, lariat, higher models.

a lot of folks have used Forsan to enable the menu pick off, but itís not clear if the menu pick off actually works.

there is a forscan thread in the 2017+ thread and this feature often comes up.

Well just got a call from my dealer saying if i could figure out how other dealers are getting the dpf filter screen to bring my truck in and they would do it he said they are curious now and want to learn some new things, cause they donít have any older diesel techs that most of them are straight out of school.
