Good thing my truck is just a work truck, and i don't care how it looks as long as its mechanically strong as an ox: i'd hate to be held up waiting on stuff like that

One question for the PA folks though, anybody got a good diagram of the vaccuum system in a bricknose? i'm striking out so far on my Google searches

 

Ron, does it have a 5.0?

 

300 inline 6, thats part of why i've been striking out i think. I'm certain there's some vacuum hoses missing or not hooked up properly, which explains why the cruise control doesn't work, and why when you mat the throttle the truck bucks real hard before it picks up and goes (well, struggles to go if its in too high a gear )

 

Ok, I found one for the 5.0.

 

Probably the same one i did, since thats all i seem to be finding is stuff for 5.0. Seems there's no love for the 300's vaccuum system

 

The hard part doing a Goggle search is weeding through everything that it retrieves even with telling it specifically what I wanted.

Good Monday Morning, Gang! Boarded & waiting to push back for Sacramento! Had a busy weekend with the kids' sports including field prep day for baseball. Unfortunately, a young, well-meaning boy tried helping out by dragging garbage cans out and placing them around the complex and dragged one down the entire driver's side of the Super. I counted three dents and the scratches run from the rear door to the headlight. The good news is that the league has insurance.... As they say, "No good deed goes unpunished."

Morning folks, welcome back to the work week. I'm here to get a break from a really busy weekend. New carpet in the OBS, retrieved my new CC rear doors, got a lot done overall.

Jason, sucks that you've got damage now. We have a guy here that handles trash and drags stuff between vehicles - which is why I park my truck far from where the dumpster is so nothing gets dragged down my panels.
