my tranny (1993 f-150 300/e40d) is starting to slip, what can i do to prevent any more damage? im gunna change the AFT hopefully this weekend. also it has the lazy shift tendencies where it would wind up and then take 2-3 seconds to shift, mostly outta first. is it time for a rebuild? what is the average price for a rebuild? i was gunna get a trans-go shift kit installed while it was gettin rebuilt but do they help?
