Buzzing in the backseat?

I'm sure somebody has posted this before but when it's cold I have like a buzzing inside the cab in the driver side rear. Tried to pin point it but couldn't. Also sounds like there is air blowing around way back there. Thoughts? This is on a Lariat.

I thought that was only for the cooling process. I know I can hear if for sure in the summer but not in the winter.

Seat heat like said earlier. If you hear it, turn off seat heat to see if thats it.

Sound comes from the rear when the front seat heaters are on. I hate it. Have never had a truck, including a 2018 Raptor make that sound for the seat heaters, but I'm told it's normal.

I've never noticed a sound with my seat heaters in my Lariat, when the cooled seats are on sure, but not the heated seats. I don't have the rear heated seats though, so maybe that's the difference?

To the OP, another possible source of the sound might be the inverter, it's located under the rear seat. Next time you hear the buzzing, you'll have to get in the back and try to isolate where exactly the buzzing is coming from.

I've noticed the sound from my heated seats on very cold morning startups till it warms up. I'm meaning like -30or colder temps tho.

Yeah, even in the really cold snap we got a few weeks ago, where temps were closer to -40, I never heard a noise. However, I did think of a different possibility. Mine's a gasser, so I forgot this was an option, but don't the diesels have some kind of auxiliary cabin heater? Maybe that's what's being heard instead of the seat heaters?

I have a gasser and first time I heard it I had to find where it was from, with ear to seat back it was coming from drivers seat. Hasnt happened since temps warmed up so just figured since everything else runs like crap in extreme cold I wouldnt be too concerned about the seats doing it for a few mins till they warmed up either.

Maybe Ford changed the seat heater after 2017? Mine is dead silent.

The seat fans blow for both heated and cool settings. On hi the fans are quite loud on my 18. If the seats aren't cooled do they still use the same fan system to heat or is it just heating elements?

When it was 0°F, my heated seats were making an awful squealing sound from the fan in the back of the front and passenger side seats...it does go away when the cab warms up a bit. The seat fan will run on both heated and cooled settings in my observations...

If it was moaning noises coming from the back seat, along with the buzzing, what might that be? 🤔
Asking for a friend...
