Well, we've spent the day in Springfield even though we never meant to. The youngest was supposed to have arrived at the airport at 3:00. Flight delays have stretched things out considerably. We're hoping he gets home between 8-9 tonight.

Actually it's the FAA's fault. They grounded the 737-Max 8/9 planes so everything's a mess whether or not they even owned any of the grounded planes.
Happy St. Pats day everyone. Doing Jesse's birthday early so I probably won't get to do much until this afternoon. I'm hoping to get the Dangitdontgo fired up this evening to see just how bad that slightly scuffed cylinder is going to be.

bob are you sure your cold start problem is not caused by a leaking accelerator pump diaphragm, or a leaking and bad power valve or both.... that can cause the fuel bowl to leak down while sitting and hard to start again when cold.. i would always prefer to run a manual fuel pump if possible ....

dang dave i am confused then.. i just read where everything bad that has happened since jan. 2016 was all trumps fault.. now you are trying to tell me it is not? i am even more confused now

Only way I could say it might be connected to him is if he pressured the FAA to approve the plane for service BUT I'm pretty sure that may have been before his time.
The engine is back together in the Durango. I just need to install all the crap that had to come out so I could get to the engine, change the oil, and refill the cooling system before I fire it up and see what I have.

Morning RC. If I had any energy, I'd have been done with it weeks ago.
Back to the funny farm this morning. My supervisor is stopping by this afternoon for my monthly checkin meeting so I suppose I ought to be there.

Good morning Everybody!
More heavy lifting today. I hope to get the rest of the shop stuff out to the new space. The biggest three things are left. (of course) My tool box, the metal brake and the milling machine. I need to go get some lumber first. I want to do something different for the mill in the new shop.
