I changed my plugs (2006) at around 80K miles last year. Not a single one broke. Soaked them for a week or so ahead of time with Kroil and took my time when taking out.

Nice! Did your truck have the updated one piece plugs?

When you guys soak these plugs, do you let the truck sit or drive it?

I let mine sit but it's an RV so I could. Plus I ran a couple of tanks (70 gal) treated with sea foam first.

Did you mean 'No, the old ones' ?

Are the SP546 the one piece plugs?

Yes, I meant the plugs were the old style. I believe the new ones are one piece but I am not concerned at this point.

Thanks....I ordered 10 anyway. They did say they were the updated plugs. However, it didn't say they were one piece. I just don't want to take out the orginals just to replace them with plugs that may give me trouble removing the later.
