The kit came with 10 little orange squares to make the lights amber, If you put 2 orange squares on each light it makes the lights amber instead of yellow. I bought the kit from COA and after I installed I realized what the remaning orange squares were for

Actually if you can park in a garage with a low hanging light works well.

In the pic you posted of your truck in the snow the lights looked amber, in another pic in front of a garage they looked yellow is that a camera issue or did you change the 'squares' for the amber look? I received mine this week and have to wait for the weather to get warmer to install can't wait lol.
Thanks for the install tips, Rob.

Quicktime on my Mac wouldn't convert the wmv file to see the strobes in action. My truck has factory cab markers but this would definitely be a consideration if I got a truck in the future that didn't have them. The strobe option would be nice in snow storms. I currently use a white/amber strobe that I throw on the dash along with a Z Flash module when needed.

I ordered amber and installed this week. Look great....lit them u and they were yellow. The covers are amber, but the lights are yellow...

I looked at the LEDs and there's a tiny strip of yellow tape which I guess causes them to be yellow (not sure why that is since I specially ordered amber)....I didn't get any tape in my order so Scott at COA is mailing me 5 additional little strips. But he is saying 2 strips if yellow will make this amber...Hmmm

RCR you mention you got amber ones..? That seems like a better solution than what Scott is saying

The camera on my phone picked them up as a yellow at night, They actually match the parking lights really close in person without the amber filters.

Mine are yellow reached out to COA and they are sending the Amber strips to correct the color match.

Hey Rob... I had the same issue and Scott sent 5 amber filters which I applied onto the yellow filter on the LEDs.... perfect match now with the rest of the amber oem lighting.

My only wish is that they would make a simple on/off opposed to the 3 settings as all I want is on/off in extended mode. prefer not to have to cycle thru the modes to get to what I want, but otherwise a seriously clever idea that works and looks great.

Sounds like a pain. What would be good for you guys is if there is a switch you can wire to the hot on the parking lights that sends the 'on' signal when lights are on and turns them off the same.

Zero... you speak of a perfect world..hehe. Seriously that would be fine and dandy, and I'm sure these guys will continue to be innovative with their lights.... so maybe I can spend another $$$ with them when they make bunches of improvements.

At this time, I love 'em and although a bit of a PITA (10 seconds to cycle thru) I'm stoked and would recommend.
