Bill/Numbers, anyone,,

So I'm going to pull the 351Measly out of my 77 F250 4x4, I have a 76 F150 2wd I bought for the 300, what engine perches do I need to put the 300 in my 77 F250 4x?
Does anyone have them, JYd's out here are mostly newer trucks, don't know where I can source them.
Thanks
Joe

You need engine perches from a 300 6 cyl or 360/390FE truck 1973-1979.

No.
2WD engine supports (aka towers/stands/perches) are completely different than 4WD engine supports.

2WD supports bolt to the frame and engine cross member. 4WD's do not have an engine cross member, bolt to the inner frame rails.

Upper pic: 1977/79 4WD .. compare to the 2WD lower pic. Supports are basic number 6028/6029

Look at the pic, the 2WD supports are different than the 4WD supports. The 240/300 rubber insulators are the same 2WD/4WD but are not the same as 360/390.

I'm sorry, I worded that wrong, I should have asked, are the supports in the 4wd the same for 240/300 and V8's, just the rubber insulators are different? Thanks Bill.

Looking at the pics, the supports on the 4wd V8/I6 are the same #,,, the insulators are what's different, that is what cornfuses me I know on a 2wd I just unbolt, and move the supports forward.
