1995 F250 351W Engine & Trans Pull

Haven't done this in a very long time. How much time do I need to schedule for removal of 351W and auto trans from 1995 F250? I have the cherry picker and engine stand. What size container do I need to catch all coolant and ideas on container to use? Will build engine and use in 1956 F100. What do I need to make certain that I take from the 1995 F250? Looking for tips and advice. Thanks, Jerry

You will for sure need to keep the computer, which is an obvious answer. As far as pulling it goes, that all depends on how experienced you are and if you know the location f everything to disconnect. Also depends on the bolts and how rusted they are. Some may be stuck and require a cutting wheel. Could be a couple hours, could be all day. I'd schedule a full weekend just to be on the safe side.

My 5.8 system held a total 2 gallons dry. I have a cat litter bucket cut off that slides under the front right at the petcock drain.

I built a contoured box that sits on my floor jack with pieces of scrap that matches my E4's pan.

Took a while to find the right balance point.

To me, the biggest pain pulling a stock engine is the Air injection plumbing attached at the top of the bell housing under the bell housing bolts which your 250 may or may not have.

Sharp as hell & cuts the same out of your fingers.

If this is donor salvage that's not going back together, you might consider taking the dog house (fenders/core support) off for ease of access
