Broken exhaust manifold bolts

I have a 1986 460 motor with two broken studs or bolts just inside head. Are there water jackets I have to worry about drilling to far? And why do i have two different thread sizes in the head? Some bolts where 3/16 and others just a size or two smaller. I thought they where supposed to be all the same thread size. Thanks for any help

nevermind. The previous owner idiot drilled through broken studs and tapped them instead of removing them. That’s why smaller bolts. He screwed up one hole and drilled through the threads. So forever exhaust leak I will have.

That can be fixed but I'd probably take the head off.

Thanks for the quick reply. Looking for a part number from Dorman or Fel-Pro? I got some but they look different from each other from the different length of bolts and such. Discrepancies from both. Some places, like Summit Racing, say the Dorman 03410 bolt kit fit (Looking for a 1986 E350, 460) fit but some reviews say they don't? And I check an ebay seller's store of the same kit and it says that the fitment check Does Not fit? With the Fel-Pro ES75114, not much info. on them. Maybe you could tell me, since you've been tinkering, what seems to be the better match up? I don't want to have things taken apart and have the wrong bolt set and wait 4-6 weeks to get bolts in and not be able to use the R.V.?

Dorman 03410

Fel-Pro ES75114

Going with the Fel-Pros. Hope they work?
