08 Escape fender flares? Lift kits?

Recently bought my 2008 Escape and as per usual w these, theres rust around the fenders. I'd love to find a direct bolt on set of flares to cover the rust. As well as about 2" of lift to clear the tires its getting. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Please and thank you in advance!

Forget about it. Fix the rust in the conventional way. Old fashion body work. Do it right, so that it doesn't spread. Covering it with a fender flare will only allow it to get worst. You probably won't find a fender flare made for an Escape. But you could probably find a generic piece of plastic on eBay which could be cut to size, and either bolted down or stuck on. It won't look good. It won't fix anything.

Don't even think about trying to life an '08 Escape. Sure, someone creative enough could fabricate a lift. But what would that do for you? Stop, before you put more money into an '08 Escape than what it is worth. You are not going to build your Escape into a Rubicon Escape.

Fix what's wrong. Do all the maintenance that it requires. Keep the vehicle running. Drive it. An '08 Escape has very little Blue Book value, will depreciate faster than you can imagine, and is not an investment worthy vehicle for aftermarket modifications. You will never build it to go faster, or be able to take it off-road like a Jeep Wrangler.

A 2" lift shouldn't be too difficult and it would look pretty cool too. As for fender flares, I know some of the older ones came with the bigger plastic flares. Those would probably be easy enough to fit. Just remember, its your car, do what you want with it and **** on anyone who has a problem with it.
