The front edge of the door actually tucks in behind the rear edge of the fender at that point. So it misses the side molding with room to spare...

Skip, what you are looking at is the weatherstriping that was left on the truck after the fiberglass side steps were removed.

I don't know why you guys won't accept it, Brad is the best at everything Ford trucks. No one will ever buy a truck as nice as his, or get a deal as good as he did, or install or repair anything as well as him. And if you buy a truck that isn't his, it is rusted out, or a piece of junk, or you overpaid for it. Nobody knows more about Ford trucks than he does. He is the be all and end all, simple as that. Lol

I bet you get looks everywhere you go with it.Mines a "very decent" (i got more than i deserved for my buck i think) body repair and re-paint and though not perfect she's been turning heads around here ever since. You just don't see 'em anymore in decent shape, let alone a southern/western cream puff.
I trust she's put up for the winters? Have you posted the pics on here before?

Does anyone sell a 7.3 without saying "It just started to break in" or "these engines go a million miles" ?

Where do the tee-ed in heater hoses go? Did he put a tank heater on it?

its pretty easy. The core support is the FIRST thing to go on these trucks. If there is rust elsewhere then the core support is guaranteed

Dont be so hateful. I never said such or insinuated it. I have seen some really smoking deals on trucks that would make your head spin, yes I have gotten some really good deals over the years as well. To state that every truck out there is rusted out or a pile of junk is just absurd.(pretty much like your statement)

I am giving my knowledge on owning over 100 of these trucks and 27 years of working on them. Just stating what I have seen and my personal experiences.
Where do you get your knowledge base?
