Currently in the garage and need help with OEM Led headlights

Iím currently installing OEM LED headlights on my 17 lariat with factory halogen lights.I bought the morimoto harness and have installed the new led headlights.Im finding that it seems the DRLís donít seem very bright and also when I put on the bright lights the top light goes out...They both donít stay on?

Any help would be appreciated as I have the whole front of my truck apart right now.

Thanks

Can't help with the headlights , but it seems like I saw a post in the forscan thread about someone figuring out how to increase the brightness of the drl's .

The [ ] lights are the only one that runs as a DRL on the stock lights, though with Forscan yes, you can make them brighter, and other parts of the light can be made to be the DRL as well.

Ok so I understand,Because my truck doesnít come with factory DRLís I have to use forscan to make them come on and bright?Cause right now the only way the [ ] are coming on is if I put on the parking lights and headlights. If no parking lights the lights donít come on at all.

Im also gonna assume that forscan is the only way to make both lights come on when using the brights?

It looks nice to me.I found a discount code through Facebook and ended up only paying $70 for the harness in the end of the entire purchase including the headlights.

Honesty Iím disappointed right now because I thought ďPlug and PlayĒ was just that.It seems now Iíve got to get into Forscan and that was what I was trying to avoid as Iím alittle afraid of it.

As I sit here I really hope Forscan will make them bright and DRL cause Iíll be real pissed if I canít make the truck work as factory.

I also had to go to Settings/Advanced/Lighting on the truck to select "Daytime Lights" as well as making the FORScan adjustment.

Yes, Forscan is the answer. Because it’s an American truck, yes you may well also need to select DRL in the settings like Pncho mentions. Then you’ll want Forscan to enable Bambi mode as well, leaves driving lights on when on low and high beam. You will also have to change a few lines code to enable low and high beams to be lit up at the same time. The Forscan thread will have all the codes you need and I can pull what mine are to get them.
