Currently in the garage and need help with OEM Led headlights
I’m currently installing OEM LED headlights on my 17 lariat with factory halogen lights.I bought the morimoto harness and have installed the new led headlights.Im finding that it seems the DRL’s don’t seem very bright and also when I put on the bright lights the top light goes out...They both don’t stay on?
Any help would be appreciated as I have the whole front of my truck apart right now.
Thanks

Ok so I understand,Because my truck doesn’t come with factory DRL’s I have to use forscan to make them come on and bright?Cause right now the only way the [ ] are coming on is if I put on the parking lights and headlights. If no parking lights the lights don’t come on at all.
Im also gonna assume that forscan is the only way to make both lights come on when using the brights?

Honesty I’m disappointed right now because I thought “Plug and Play” was just that.It seems now I’ve got to get into Forscan and that was what I was trying to avoid as I’m alittle afraid of it.
As I sit here I really hope Forscan will make them bright and DRL cause I’ll be real pissed if I can’t make the truck work as factory.

Yes, Forscan is the answer. Because it’s an American truck, yes you may well also need to select DRL in the settings like Pncho mentions. Then you’ll want Forscan to enable Bambi mode as well, leaves driving lights on when on low and high beam. You will also have to change a few lines code to enable low and high beams to be lit up at the same time. The Forscan thread will have all the codes you need and I can pull what mine are to get them.

I used the code,LEDEVERYTHING and got a big discount. You could try it,I don’t know if it will still work or not.I bought them about 2 months ago and just got around to installing them.
