I replaced the stator assembly in the Duraspark dizzy that I installed in my '84 300, but after I removed the armature, noticed that it had 2 different places for the roll pin. Does it matter which one the pin goes in?
Is there a paper with the part, maybe 1 slot is for the 6 and the other for v8?
Do you have the old one off yet?
If so do you know what side went up and what side went down?
If so lay the new one on top of the old and line up the roll pin slots and mark so you know when you put it back together.

I didn't replace the armature piece, just the stator. Unfortunately I didn't pay close enough attention when it came off the dizzy shaft
