Emerald Coast Crusin March 6-9
for all you Southern boys and those long travelers, the Emerald Coast Crusin is March 6-9 in Panama City Beach Fl. The fall show was hurricane cancelled so the spring event should be a good one... and everyone is itching to ride. Ya'll come down

well, here's the report... Show was a good one... probably a couple hundred on opening day (thursday) but by Saturday all the fields were full...they claimed on fb they had over a thousand but.... that';s a lot of cars, ain't it?? there were far too many 55-57 Chevys and Corvettes. The only 57 Chevy worth mentioning is pictured below. Didn't get to talk to the owner, never could catch him there. There was a scattering of trucks but none that made you lose your breath looking at them.
Weather was perfect... cool mornings and mild afternoons in the 65-70 range. Didn't hang around for the awards.. we headed to Biloxi Saturday pm. The food and facilities were acceptable... typical car show food all fried. Had my first deep fried Oreo cookie...that was underwhelming. But lots of good food around Panama City to make up for it. All together not a bad weekend and will probably return in the fall... that show seems to draw more attendies and some really nice rides.
I was mainly looking at interiors for ideas and took mostly upholstery pictures. So this is the only 'car picture' I took

Thanks for the report and picture of your sunny weather with trees already budding!
But I disagree with you about this blue 57 Chevy/Vette frankenstein car. I am sure it took a lot of skilled labor and inspiration, but I'd rather have the silver 57 in the background than 10 of the blue one!
