Glad you got it running Charlie!

The RT1049 is the tstat I installed in my 6.9l IDI. The one in my 7.3l IDIT was similar to the Stant 30109. IMHO, any of the "standard replacements" would be preferable. Why not pay a bit more for the Motorcraft one though?
