Turbo oil feed upgrade

Turbo oil feed upgrade
Does this look right ?
Purchased from ford online and picked it up from my local Ford dealer over the weekend. Upon closer inspection the bend at the top where it goes from vertical to horizontal before entering the top of the turbo looks like it is partially collapsed.
If theyre all like this I'll run it but seems wrong since all the other bends on the tube look correct. Anyone want to take a look at theirs to compare ?

Same question from me also, have the HPOP cover off for resealing and the oil cooler out for replacement but don't know if I need the hardline or not. Mine is an early build 03 if it makes a difference.

The ones that have to buy the oil cooler top part are the older engines. I am not sure what the cutoff date is.
But anything from 05 and up should not need a new cover.
The reason as SmackDaddy said is the failure of the braided section. The lining fails and chokes the oil flow.
The only way that you know it failed is your turbo bearings fail do to lack of oil.
You will have to check on what years but the drain was also an issue for the early engines.
The cutoff dates should be in the Tech Folder.

The bottom of my feed line looks the same as one in the picture you posted above. When mine was off I blew through the braided line, no restriction to me but probably better to be safe with the new non braided line. I was told by someone on these forums that the drain pipe was the most important to upgrade. Guess I should just get the new one, that part is almost $100, seems crazy price to pay, but if it saves my new Garrett, then its worth the price.
