Searching for my new truck...there has to be a better way

I've spent hours using the Ford.com zipcode based truck search. Is there a better way to do this? So far I've found 2 similar to what I'm looking for. 1 here in Tn and one in Texas. There has to be more.

Don't disagree. But out of respect for a salesperson time I'm trying not to do that. Prices (discounts) have varied greatly between dealerships. If I let my dealer trade 1 out, may not get all the discounts.

I had to order to get the supplemental heat and 5th wheel prep. Try to get 10-15% off msrp, anything above 10% is fair.

I did what you did and just found a small dealer and ordered. Wasting time is annoying. We did the whole thing over phone and email.

I looked at one dealer and salesguy was gonna waste my time it seemed like so I went online but the Ford site is more catered to getting you into a dealer.

If you want all the other goodies like radar cruise and LED headlights you’re on the right path looking at the platinum, FYI.

So I live 6 hours from where I bought my very specific truck. I used Autotrader and then when I found ones that I wanted to investigate into further, I would go to the dealers website to view the window stickers. There were two trucks in the country that had the options that I wanted. My local dealers sell for 500 under sticker which is a joke. I usually pay 500 over invoice. The whole deal was done by email with the selling dealer. Trade and all. Just don't accept anything less than perfection. That's why you are buying new. New means showroom.

There are auto brokers out there that will do the legwork for you. That's how I bought my prior truck. I printed out the sheet from the manufacturer website and he found the exact truck and a few days later I was driving it. Only 8 miles on the odometer. For my F-350 it was less expensive for me to order a truck. I got a deal that was slightly better than X-plan.

Agreed. The truck in round in Texas is closest to what I want. 12 hour drive though...yuck.

Question

Understood. However, as a Limited, it does have all of the Plat + Ultimate features, and all other boxes appear to be checked.
