Do a username search for "Rikil". I believe he had something like that.

I haven't seen a post from him in a year, I think.

What could possibly go wrong?

I hate to see you go. You are very entertaining. An imagination like that is a terrible thing to waste. We get so many sheep in here these days. You are not a sheep. You are a thinker. Just be a little more careful with those wire cutters.

This has been entertaining / enlightening to say the least. Who woulda thunk that all those wires were not needed.

OK, no piling on folks. We all face plant occasionally.

Would like to hear my Q answered if possible.

Wouldn't 27mph be right about the TC clutch lock up point?

OP, thicken up your skin. Just saying that you "cut wires" does sound hack. Did you ID what you were cutting?...I hope.

You can get the pcm to control just the trans with the right wiring/sensors. Or,by installing an after market trans controller, either way will be cheaper/easier than a C6 swap.

Yeah, was hoping Mark would lay out the basics by now to at least salvage this thread.

The OP left a while back.
