78-79 Intro questions before shopping
FAQ site is down, just a couple quick questions as I begin my search for a 78-79 Bronco. Not new to Bronco's or restoring old cars/trucks, but haven't restored a '79 and sometimes you get special problems with certain years.
First off, best place to get parts? We've used Bronco Graveyard for my brothers '69 Bronco, but I don't know if there are any better options out there.
Anyone reproducing the original seat covers? (nostalgic to me)
Front beach seats rare? Pickup ones work or are the tracks different?
Sliding rear windows rare? Replacement parts for them? (gaskets, glass)
Anything that tends to be a hidden problem on these?
Hidden areas that rust out?
Any parts that are hard to come by? (like rear window switches where for the 86 I had...)
Looking to get a blue and white one (see picture below), I enjoy painting... but painting the jambs is not nearly as much fun, so it would be nice to find a blue one so I don't have to do the firewall (already have enough projects, be nice just to spruce something up vs rebuilding it all to enjoy it). Not sure how rare of a color that is, I can't seem to find any info on factory color options. Is this something worth searching for? Or am I going to be stuck doing a full color change?
This guy's truck is pretty close to what I'd like, except I want rear sliding windows.
Prices seem to be all over the place. Am I right in assuming something that's mechanically reliable as a daily driver (freeway in the snow level) and in decent shape is going to be in the $6000-8000 range? I don't mind redoing the interior and maybe painting it (fun but a lot of work), but my '56 is my major project truck. I'm seeing some in the $1500-2000 range that need paint at the very least. The one pictured above sold for $6500 about 10 years ago. Course I've seen some in the $40k range.
Any good place to find one besides craigslists?
Thanks, appreciate it.

I stumbled on this site a few weeks back.

Haven't purchased anything yet but have found some interesting items. As always, be careful.

I have a 1979 driver for sale, but it might not fit your preferences:

I use LMC Truck and Jeff’s Bronco Graveyard for most parts:
