Told me they had 57-60 hood springs for something like $180/pair - so $200 with shipping. My weak springs hold hood a little over half open. I opted to keep using my wood (no scratching) 4 ft. X 1 1/2 inch closet pole for a prop rod. Fits well up in underside of hood corner and down on fender corner/core support. Stores nicely down behind the grill.

My experience is that the '57-'59 hood springs are different than the '60 springs (17-18 coils vs. 20-21 coils for the '60's).

come on man - there are industrial suppliers of springs from me to you and from you around this world ...

is you wish i'll locate one but you have the smarts for it! you are -literally asking for a spring supplier - ha

first there was the whell - then they needed a spring
