hood springs

Told me they had 57-60 hood springs for something like $180/pair - so $200 with shipping. My weak springs hold hood a little over half open. I opted to keep using my wood (no scratching) 4 ft. X 1 1/2 inch closet pole for a prop rod. Fits well up in underside of hood corner and down on fender corner/core support. Stores nicely down behind the grill.
