BF Goodrich KM3 Mounted on old Slots!

Placed new tires (33" x 12.5" x 15"), on some old wheels, and it greatly improved the looks of the truck!

Hated the old ones,

Fixing this one up a little at a time.

Pat

Love the look! I got back and forth on which wheel looks better. The slots or bullet hole

where did you find the slots? They look like they’re in good shape

also, how do you like the km3’s? I have enjoyed the KO2’s

more slots

here are new 17" slots with 35" BFG All Terrains...white letters still blue, just installed.
see the the old 16.50" slots in the bed - useless....no more 16.50" tires...!
the old slots are machined aluminum finish, the new slots are polished aluminum

Wheels look great, where did you find them? I have well past worn out 16.5 TA's on my 79, would love to keep the slot look.
Thanks,
Pete

Hi Pete,
The only slots I could find for 8 lug are US Mags. Got mine as a tire/wheel package from a small local distributor.
Go to US Mags web site to find a dealer.
Good luck..!

Looks great, like a time warp. There was always that 1 way cool truck or Bronco that someone else owned that you wanted bad, and now that I think about it it was the big tires and slots.

Thanks for the comments.

I had these slots on an old '71 Jeep I had. I was going to take the Jeep on the Rubicon, so I didn't want to scrape these up. I replaced the ones on the Jeep, and have had these laying around.

I don't even have 10 miles on the KM3's yet. Got hit with a bunch of snow, so I really haven't taken the truck out.

I will soon,

Pat

It really is amazing what a set of wheels and tires can do!

Thanks for the nice comment!
