I'm also interested in this topic, when my warranty runs out I plan to delete at the first sign of an emissions fault. Threads asking about the items needed for deleting appears to be a hot topic and nobody fully answers the question in detail.

I've gathered info on the required products needed for blocking the EGR and removing the DPF. These appear to be the most popular and reliable here on FTE

If anyone wants to post their thoughts on the products listed below it would be much appreciated. Did I leave anything out? Are all these items necessary to delete a truck and keep the decibel levels as close to stock as possible?

The only item I feel might be unnecessary is the resonator because it's my understanding the factory tail pipe has a similar device already installed.

11'-16' 6.7L Delete Supplies For Stock Power And Sound

$$99.99 - No Limit EGR Block Off Plates

$399.99 - SCT x4 Programmer

$249.99 - Tyrant Tune

$186.00 - Flo Pro 4" Race Pipe without bungs

$117.99 - Donaldson Muffler - M085421 is quieter than the M085171

$135.94 - FTE Resonator
_________

$1189.90

I don't feel like the resonator is necessary. You didn't mention if you're bolting or welding the muffler in, but you'll need muffler clamps if you're bolting. Otherwise, that's it.

Thanks for the feedback. It appears I have to spread the love around a bit before I can send you more reps.

I didn't think about the clamps good eye. Also what is the best way to terminate the old sensor wires? It would be great if there was a cap that would plug into the harness wires to protect the end terminals.

You can buy the male/female counterparts for the plugs you disconnect. I don't know what they are but I'm sure there's a diagram somewhere. I just filled mine with dielectric grease, wrapped them in surgical gloves and sealed them with tape.

Shibby Engineering has a kit with all of the plugs. It seems to be a complete kit. I've only found them on a bookface page and not a true web page.

I got most of my stuff from alligator performance. They are a local Idaho company. I got the block off plates direct from No Limit Fabrication.

When I contact tyrant do I let them know that it's deleted or is it just basic common knowledge that we order it or do I put it in words his modifications for the tune. I will be getting the tow tune. I have one more question for now that is, My buddy used to work Ford as a mechanic . He was saying that once it is delete all he has to actually do is go in the computer and turn off the EGR system ,There is no need for tune unless you want increased power is this true?
