4" Exhaust. What to get/not to get?

I went with a Diamond eye 4” turbo back. You just have to make sure it fits your trucks size, single cab, X cab, CC and then the bed. Then decide if you want a muffler etc.

I installed the MBRP 4" system on my truck. The DP was a bitch to get in...
I have since removed the MBRP downpipe since I installed the CSD T4 kit. I was very happy with the MBRP (muffler included) kit and am still very happy with the CSD/MBRP setup.
If you are in the south or never get up north during winter, you can get the cheaper metals for the tubing.

I ended up going with the Black coated kit. The tip shows signs of fading/wear. I'm pretty sure that is due to road chemicals and dirt roads. It's only about the bottom third of the tip, right below the rear tire splash guard.
I'm probably due to get back under the truck and make sure the alignment on the pipes is still good.

If I could go back in time...not sure I'd have swapped out the OEM stuff.

I have the MBRP in 4" stainless with muffler.
The previous owner of my truck had installed the 5" kit with no muffler.
Night and day difference - the 5" was obnoxiously loud and cab drone was horrible.
I do recommend spending a little extra to get stainless. The quality of steel used in aftermarket exhausts is low. Non-stainless variants will rot out a lot sooner than the factory piping, which is typically of much higher grade.
I'd actually like to add a secondary muffler to quiet it down a bit more. I hate loud vehicles.

I just think that there are far better places to gain performance than a 4" exhaust. @srb150

I just put the 4" stainless Diamond Eye with no muffler on my 2000 F250 4x4 yesterday. Plan on taking the cross member off, makes taking the old off and putting the new on much easier. It did take a minute to get everything lined up where it wouldn't rattle. Its really not that loud unless you standing right at the exhaust pipe. The only nit I can pick is that I would have liked to have band clamps instead of the standard clamps. More $$$ thought.
I got mine from Full Force for $360.
