Engine build questions and opinions

Hi yall so I am trying to repair my existing 460 block but lots of rust.m so it's only a matter if time till the block is done... that being said I am looking at building up from an ATK 460 short block 469 bored 40 over... externally balanced with comp cam K34-277-4 kit 268 duration .494 lift new valves and all the bells and whistles. Heads will be D3VE 2A2 heads cleaned up and some port work from mad porter site... till I can afford new heads and an intake...just going to run the stock intake and a CarterAFB carb 9635sa. I know gasket kit, oil pump, head bolts and accessories bolts timing cover, fuel eccentric, push rods, rocket arms, external balancer.. any input would be much appreciated! And rough hp estimates?

You might try posting this question in the Big Block 385 Series engine forum to get more direct opinions. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum53/

How is Enterprise Alabama these days? I am sure the boll weevil statue still there? Is Cowboys in Dothan still open for quarter beer night?
