crown vic frame swap

hey whats up guys, im thinking about doing a frame swap for my 69 f100 sometime late this year or mid. first i was thinking about about doing the front-end, but the more i think about it then more of doing the whole frame makes sense.
The only and main problem i am having is finding a wire diagram to thin out the harness and to connect to the f100 dash. if anyone can help me that would be great. thanks

I would just stick with the front end. A full frame swap is a lot of work and requires body mods on a 67-72.

This video series is with a 61, but he talks a lot about how he chopped down his harness and that might help:

If you haven't seen it already, look up Nathan's Garage on YouTube. He does the exact swap you mentioned, (I believe he has done two of them). I don't remember if he talks about thinning out the wiring harness or not, but he covers a lot of the build. If anything, maybe it can help you with the rest of your swap.

His swaps are the reason I wouldn't do a full frame swap. Nothing looks very finished or put together that well. I also really don't like the massive hump in the bed. I enjoy watching the videos, but it bugs me that he doesn't spend the money on things needed to properly finish a build.

I agree with you completely. His first truck where he reuses the Crown Vic dash is especially heinous looking. Either way I figured it would be good resource for the O/P to see what all is involved in the process. I think the front end swap would be better than the frame swap.

If by chance you want more information on a front end swap, The Go Fast Garage on YouTube has a nice 71 truck. I believe he put a crown vic front, and a mustang rear, as well as turning it into a short bed. Just never mind the fact that he put a 6.0 LS engine in it.
