Its for my 223 straight 6, I also have a yblock and I've read that the 223 and the yblock share some parts. I was hoping that the distributor was one of the parts they shared.

I hope the rock auto one works, because I already paid for it.

OK. No, the distributors are different.

Ok, I got the new distributor from Rock Auto and I pulled my distributor. They look identical except the one from my engine has a 8 to 10 inch square rod sticking out from the bottom. Looks like there's a pin holding it in place. Before I mess anything up, can the pin be driven out and put into the new distributor?
