I like it too! Finally Mr. Curated Content Editor shows a truck that I like!

The tractor is painted like an 8N. But I thought it looked slightly different than an 8N. I read the captions and saw it is a 2N.

Still a very nice combo. But he needs a front bumper on the truck.

Oh, another thing I read in the fine print.... The writer said, "That big flat nose required Ford to install the engine under the COE's flat bench seat."

That is a beautiful truck. And a nicely restored tractor. They compliment each other.

All Ford tractors of the era were painted grey. The 9N was introduced in 1939 and the 2N was introduced in 1942 as a stripped down war model. The 8N, introduced in 1948, was the first of the Ford tractor series with two tone red and grey colors. Hence, the 8N was often referred to as the "Red Belly".
Shame they left the bumper off the truck. Real trucks have bumpers.

Especially a big truck. It looks unfinished. The frame horns are still there.

I noticed the hood latches are missing, as well as the cab grab handles.
Seems like they're not quite done reassembling after the freshening up?

That tractor is tied down with some pretty light-duty hardware, and no side-to-side restraint. I hope that was only for the picture shoot. What are the bed boards made of? Doesn't seem like they would be strong enough to hold the tractor in a quick stop. Are they Trex deck?
