Smile 05X - Slow Build 4x4 05 EB

Hey everyone,

Been lurking but figured it was time to post my X. I bought it back in August of 17, it's one 1 of my 2 dream vehicles (the other being 67-72 SCSB C10).

It came with an Air Lift lift with on board compressor in the rear, XD Hoss 16x8 wheels, 305/70r16 wheels on it, on some worn out X/B codes, and a K&N intake.
The first round of mods I did was an OBDLink LX synced to a ATOTO 7" Android HeadUnit running torque pro.

First crappy pic:

I then installed a Diamond Eye 4" turbo back straight pipe exhaust and the blue spring mod.
In February of 18 I had OSTS in Phoenix, AZ do ARP Studs, Ford head gaskets, IPR Coolant Filter kit w/ Manifold, EGR Delete, STC Fitting update, hpop screen, turbo feed and drain, new oil cooler, coolant flush & fill, pressure check/deck/machine heads, new valves, and waterpump.

I then installed both FICM and PCM tuning from PHP, and a 3in1 gauge pod running boost, fuel psi and EGT. I am still running those tunes on Hercules/120X.

I ordered some smoked headlights, fog lights, a bug shield, and ford emblem overlays.

To temporary get off the ground I got some 3" lift shackles and put them.

Then I got new wheels and tires, 20x10's on 36s, and procomp 22410 front springs to get rid of the shackles.

I added a dual steering stabilizer, and then removed the step sides, and did a TON of paint correction.

Switched out my intake for a No Limit Intake

Today I have coming in some LED headlights and foglights, 6000k and 3000k respectively.
I am also doing a full interior LED swap in a week or so.

Next up is new step sides and new tow mirrors.
In a month or 2 I'll have a KC Stage 2 Turbo.

Later!

They are about 6 months old, settled to about a 5" lift, but otherwise are riding great. We'll see about longevity.

I am 'most likely' going to switch the rear over to the PMF 08+ Hanger conversion, and run some 2011+ lift springs for the back.

Got the new led heads/fog in last night. Foglights are great, pretty much mimic halogen in focus. On the headlights the focus is 'okay', nothing to write home about. Better than halogens for actual light output. I got the Stark APX series 360 bulbs, but come to find out on 2 of the 3 sets are on for lows. Disappointed. I may nor may not look for something else. I'll get some outward looking shots in the next few days. Here is head on:

Sure. They are just shackles not hangers (where the back of the front leafs mount), just to be clear. They are 2-3" adjustable, use factory hardware.
If you want to PM your address I'll get a quote and give you a good deal.

Thanks! Wish it was, lol but it's not. Above the trim, after a good detailing its pretty darn close but it has it's dings here and there. The paint correction did wonders though, took me a week or so doing 2 hours a day. For its age, the old girl is still a looker for sure.

Rest of the interior lights are done - disappointed in the middle and back row lights as I ordered the same brand from the same person with the same ratings, and they are white/blue compared to the pure white of my vanity and map/dome lights. I'll change em out at some point. I'll get pics a little later.

Getting ready to order new step sides and 08+ tow mirrors.

Got my tow mirrors ordered, should be here in a week or so.
Do we have promo code for Riffraff Diesel? Looking to order some anodized caps for the under the hood, and new IC boots (all 4).
