Master Cylinder Failed/Caused sensors to fail?

So Friday afternoon I'm attaching the plow to the front of my truck (06 f350 6.0 drw) with with the help of my wife. She gets in the truck, presses the brakes, and I hear a pop noise and she says the brakes went to the floor! Of coarse I'm pissed and yelling, "what did you do!" (In retrospect- She may have save my life or at least saved me from putting a truck shaped hole into one of my customers buildings)

Turns out the cruise control cut-out sensor on the bottom of the master cylinder blew in half from the pressure. I assume this caused a leak and just needed to be replaced to restore pressure. I replace the sensor, but the pedal still goes to the floor and I get a tbc fault. I then start bleeding the brakes, to find only my front brakes are having any fluid sent to them. I then replace the master cylinder to find I now have brakes, but every time I apply them I get a tbc fault on the dash.

My question is this- can a faulty master cylinder cause the cruise control cut-out sensor and brake transducer (both sensors under the master cylinder) to fail? Even to the point of tearing the cut-out sensor in half?

Update

I've been driving the truck for about a week now. Brakes work just fine, but the tbc fault blinks away on the dash every time I hit the brakes. No leaks fromfthe transducer mounted under the master cylinder.

Is there a way to disable the tbc system?
