Snipper EFI - 2 barrel or 4 barrel
I currently have a 2 barrel carb in my 351w. 1953 is in the process of frame off and working on getting the cab ready for paint so all that I have done is idle the 351w...good oil pressure and compression.
I am wanting to convert EFI and have been looking at the Holly Snipper kits...
Question: I don't think the 4 barrel will fit my current intake (at least how I ready the information) . Should I plan on replacing the intake for a 4 barrel EFI? At some point I would like to install a cam and would like to plan ahead. Much less costly to get the 4 barrel EFI now and not have to change that later.
Thx for the advice.

You could install a 2 barrel Sniper but if you plan on engine upgrades later do the new intake and install a 4 barrel. You may need to change the tune later when you change cams but even that may be necessary. I have a Sniper on one of my vehicles and have put 4000 miles on it, Love it! I am on the Sniper board and have seen some problems but most seem self inflicted.
