Ive got a 2006 F350 xl regular cab. It's got vinyl bench seats that are torn up, ugly, and uncomfortable. I came across some brand new 2017 f250 bucket seats on eBay for a reasonable price, and thought they might make for a great swap.
Anybody know how difficult of a swap this would be? Is it even possible? Is there a better option?
If you get the seat brackets from a 99-16 truck that had the 40/20/40 manual seats like the ones your looking at and attaching the seats to the older brackets should be pretty starlight forward since the new ones look to manual and then they will bolt right in but you can’t just buy the seats and bolt them in.
I had read somewhere that the bolt pattern of an XL regular cab fitted with a bench seat would only have the bolt pattern for a bench seat. My truck is a utility body and I'm assuming it was ordered as a cab and chassis alone.
