My wifes 2013 Explorer Limited has a front Left Headlight which is for some reason intermittent.

I bought some LASFIT 9005/HB3 LED Headlight Bulbs 72W 7600LM LED Headlight Conversion Kits Internal Driver Xenon White 6000K High Beam (Pack of 2) Bulbs from Amazon which said they were compatible, to change the 2013 Explorer Limited Square Back Osram Xenarc D3S 35W 66340 Headlight Bulbs (whatever they are).

I could not find a video on YouTube specifically addressing this bulb type which the vehicle came with, but it appears when I look at a replacement square back, that these should turn out like the others, but they do not seem to turn and I do not want to break something.

Has anyone changed these out for similar bulb types?

The dealer wants like 400 bucks a piece to change these out.

 

I changed mine over to LED. I guess I'm not sure if you are trying to replace the exact bulb or not. Any 9005 bulb should work as long as its for your vehicle (same style plug). The only thing you need to worry about is length or depth of bulb as the dust shields for the bulbs need to be able to fit back on.
