Headlight relay harness

A search turned up nothing recently related so figure I'll ask.

I'm wanting to install a relay harness on my 03 to put full voltage at the headlight bulbs - rather than passing all the current thru the switch wiring and, thus, leading to a drop in final voltage at the bulbs themselves. Wondering if anyone has a lead on a vendor for such a relay?

Yeah, I know I can build one myself from available parts. But my life is sufficiently busy right now that I'm definitely willing to pay for the convenience of having one arrive on my doorstep, ready to install in a few days time. I had an ebay vendor bookmarked but said vendor appears to have closed up shop a while back.

And before anyone suggests it, I have ZERO interest in HID conversations or any such thing. Just want a harness to get max voltage to the bulbs.

TIA

Bottom of the page, one part # for trucks equipped with aero lights, one for sealed beams.

Let me confirm with the more knowledgeable folks than I.

My 2003 stock F350 Lariat edition truck has "composite" headlights, correct? From my reading/research, only the XL trucks came with sealed beams?

Sealed beam has a frame around a setback glass front bulb. The bulb is sealed inside a 5" X 7" glass enclosure.

Composite (plastic) or "aero" style headlight is plastic faced, flush with the turn signals and body lines.

Perfect, that's pretty much the conclusion I came to as well from my reading. Thanks for the reply.

I'm curious, has anyone been running this setup? Are there any differences in actual light output? What kinda of bulb life do you get versus as is from factory?

I ordered one of these harnesses. Showed up a week or so ago, but just now getting around to actually un-boxing and installing.

Out of the box, it appears to be a reasonable well built harness. "Made in Taiwan" which, while not as good as USA built stuff, at least it's not China. I'll attach some pics below for others' reference.

The instructions on the back of the packaging seem straight forward enough. But, I cannot locate the factory 3-prong wiring harness which the instructions specify? I have the battery, battery tray, and washer fluid reservoir removed -- still no luck finding the harness connection.
Anyone help or have advice?

For either side, you plug the original light plug into the new harness.
Then plug the new harness plug into the light bulb.
Each light bulb has 3 pins, plugs only fit one way.
What part is tripping you up?

Yeah, I'm a moron apparently.

I thought there was an additional connection required. But as soon as I unplugged the existing wire from the actual bulb, I realized how it all fit together. My bad.

Will get it all routed, connected, and buttoned back up tomorrow - hopefully.
