I have a question. How much fuel is wasted due to the decrease in Fuel Mileage when the DPF is engaged? And here in our neighborhood a kid was caught breaking into a car and toted a pretty good a** whipping from the car's owners. The Parents of the "Juvenile" are threatening to sue for the beat down. I say that the parents should be held liable for all the damage the kid did. He broke into 8-9 cars that night........

MSN does articles on this a couple times a year telling you the "exotic metals" in the exhaust system, and why you may be targeted. I realize that most of these dirt bags probably don't read, but the ones that do can simply read an article to see what they need to steal. The Fake News at it's finest!!

I just came across this and wanted to comment that I do not believe a sawz-all was used but a pipe cutter - no noise, 4-5 side to side swipes and clean cut so it can be welded on to the schmucks vehicle it was stole for. That was not taken out for crackhead sale for drugs. This could have been "cut out" that same night of your dinner, but, at 2, 3 or 4am when no one was awake.... just sayin'

Can only hope the thieves burned their hands welding it in their truck.

Uh, no, the pictures clearly show teeth marks from a saw blade. Pipe cutter is a lot cleaner than that.

I have a continuous running Dash Cam with High Definition Video and Audio (Front and Rear Recording )

Thinkware F800 Pro
https://us.thinkware.com/products-f800pro/

It runs 24x7 8 hour Loop

Also, High End Auto Alarm. So if anyone touches the vehicle I'll know remotely to my cell and monitoring service.

I do hope the op turned it into his insurance company. That is an expensive repair to just pay yourself.
