86 E150 Died on freeway

On my way to Tucson from Northern California I pulled off the freeway for gas (had about 1/4 tank still) and the van died on the off ramp once I slowed down. I thought well maybe I am out of gas because recently I had a bunch of electrical done to get the dash lights working and it went back out along with the fuel gage not registering all the time. So I put gas in both tanks and figured it should be ok. Nope started it up and it idled rough and died. It seemed to only stay running as long as I kept accelerating. It was about an hour to my friends house so I made it there and then tried to google the symptoms. I came up with either the IAC, the PVC or TPS. I bought the IAZ and PCV. Started with the PCV since it was easiest. Let it run about 5-10 minutes and it idled rough but seemed to stay going. So I started to make my way on the rest of my journey. Got 45 miles up the highway and this time it started to loose power on a straightaway. Accelerating did nothing, it just kept loosing speed but it was running. It would pop when trying to accelerate as if out of gas and it was worse so I just let it coast. I was hoping to make it to the exit but I didn't. Ended up getting a tow back to my friends. I need to get to AZ by Sunday so I need help diagnosing! Thanks for any help. I have the v8 5.0l. Has new plugs and wires. When trying to restart it has to turn over for a good bit ,maybe 30 seconds? before it starts rough

You seem to have ignition spark so the next logical thing to check is fuel pressure. This sounds a lot like that's not up to spec's.
