My Expy is throwing a P0012 code. I replaced the VCT Solenoid but the code comes back sometime between 1 hour and 2 days later. The motor is running smooth, no surges or stalling. The vehicle has had the phazers and solenoids replaced along with the cam chain solenoids in the past (80,000 miles ago). I currently have 220000 miles on the vehicle and it runs strong. Anyone have any ideas on whats causeing the P0012 code? No other codes are coming up, just the one.

 

Time to start inspecting the wiring and connectors.
