Question problems with my 96 F150

I have a 96 F150 V8 5.0. I went and got a diagnostic run on it and it came back insufficient EGR flow, system too lean bank 1, system too lean bank 2, and secondary air injection selenoid didn't change when activated. Would that be caused by a bad or dirty air filter? Any ideas would be great.

Probable cause of EGR code is a bad EGR pressure sensor. They fail often and ford has a recall on some models, dont know about 5.0,s tho. Both 02,s being lean could be: insufficient fuel pressure, vacumn leak or air getting into intake without going thru MAF first, or MAF sensor wires so dirty MAF cant read correctly. Remove two torx screws holding MAF to housing and look at two little wires suspended between two larger ones. If they are dirty MAF is not telling ECM correct amount of air entering intake and therefore fuel injection system runs lean. ECM looks for a change in 02 sensor reading when it activates air injection solenoid. 02,s cant change from rich to lean if they are already lean from dirty MAF sensor. Use spray brake cleaner to clean wires. Be careful not to break them. Good luck.
